Music Lab Instructor timesheets due to Jill Keller by June 18 for the pay period 6/1 to 6/23.
And as of June 24, everything changes. We all received an e-mail from PCC Business Services, stating that we will being using Kronos in the fall. Jill Keller assures us that "we will like this" because it's going to be easy, easy, easy. She'll enter us into the system (Pam, Frank and Geoff, call her with a seven digit code you'd like her to use. Many people are using the last seven digits of their phone no.) We will log "in" and "out" every time we work in the Lab at one of three Kronos black box electronic wall installations located in the new Center for the Arts Bldg. (There's one on the wall of the 2nd floor west wing C-Bldg. right now. Go take a look.) As I understand it, we enter our 7-digit code, plus put our finger up to the scanner. The software reads both our code and fingerprint, and boom, we're in or out. Quick and easy.
FYI, I posted a hard copy of the Business Services letter on the board next to our Reference Desk.
I hope the bit about finger prints was a joke, right?
