I just looked at those front computers that have Pro Tools installed. I determined that while the 1st one on the right has the Pro TOols screen saver and Pro tools App, it does not actually have the iLok so Pro Tools does not open. I also visually determined that computers #2,3,4,5 DO have the iLok and I assume Pro Tools will work on those machines (I did not verify this).
I think we need to remove the Pro Tools app and screen saver from the #1 machine, as it will confuse students who sit there and want to use Pro TOols.
Thanks
A student working on ProTools in the music lab is encountering a login popup which asks for a password. The classroom password does not work, nor does "musiclab." I advised the student to email Prof Dunbar.
ReplyDeleteWhich computer was this student at? Was it the first one on the right corner as you walk in?
