Easier way to check out 10 mic cables

To All Who check out recording equipment from 002-C (Lab Tech. Office):

When checking out recording equipment for larger ensemble sessions, please take advantage of the time and hassle saving "Roadrunner" black case* which has cables in it, when needed. There are 10 numbered 25 foot cables inside and a barcode attached on the outside, representing all ten cables which are listed in the item info in Worldshare. We must all be diligent to count the cables (the added numbers makes this easy) when checking out and in and be sure the person checking them in (if it's someone other than the person who checked them out) knows to ignore the barcodes on the individual cables and check them in with the single barcode attached to the case.

Our safety net depends, of course, on patron accounts being double-checked for delinquent items upon the conclusion of the check-in process.

*The case lives on the top of the gray cabinet in the Lab Technician's Office below the window.
