Computer down again...

The student worker check out computer (the one close to the door) is down again. Elena Acevedo (7525) requested that we contact her and NOT the help desk when the Voyager computers are down. I contacted her about this on Friday, 3/23.

On Wednesday, 3/21, she also suggested that the 'library materials' computer that hasn't worked all semester may need to be replaced.

She looked at the lab instructor computer (which had been running slower than usual). There was a automatic anti-virus program that was running in the background a couple times a week at noon. This was slowing it down considerably. We changed that to a once a week operation at 10am on Mondays only. It is now working much better! Remember, please do NOT add or download any programs to the lab instructor computer without first communicating with Zac or myself.

Also, do NOT allow the student workers to access the internet on the Voyager computers. Please inform me if you catch a student worker surfing the net.
