Hello Lab Instructors,
I hope you had a great summer break, we all deserve some time off to recharge our batteries.
There has been a campus wide cut back on Federal Work Study. We will be allowed only 8 student workers and currently have 5 students who worked in the past that intend to work in the lab this fall. If all goes well, they should begin to work week 1 or 2 of the semester. We will have to train any new students workers. All FWS workers will need to use Kronos as a time-clock. They need to clock in when they arrive and clock out when done. Jill Keller (music secretary in C121) will be training the FWS workers to use Kronos. We all need to be willing to work at the check out desk until the FWS situation is under control. Eric can help at the check out desk sometimes, he is only here until 4pm weekdays. Also, keep in mind that Eric is very busy with instrument and locker check out early in the semester.
Boglarka Kiss will be back in the lab again this fall and we will also have Anne Marie Ketchum working in the lab.
Please make an effort to be on time for your shift, and always try to cover any hours that you will have to miss. Use the blog to request subs well in advance.
See you soon,
Brad Steed
