iMac computer updates

Please look at the new signs on the iMac computers.

I have moved our 4 copies of Finale 2012 to stations 1-4 and written that those computers are to be relinquished for "finale priority"

I have also removed the old copies of Finale 2010 that were technically unlicensed and causing problems for students who tried to open files from the newer version.

I have given bumping priority to stations 5-8 for Music Theory programs and 20-21 for Pro Tools (we're working on getting all of the ProTools rigs updated to ProTools 11).

Also...

I have put a password on each computer, it used to be blank, but now it is "student". This allows for better access from the supervisor's desk using "Remote Desktop". The computers now log straight into the account at startup, but it might also cause some confusion if someone logs out and can't get back in.

[UPDATE: The automatic startup was causing server log-in problems... I have returned the computers to no password / no auto log-in. Remote Desktop now logs in through the Computing Services administrator password.]
